Winterfest & US Snow Sculpting Competition: January 27-February 4

Our most popular winter event is Lake Geneva's Annual Winterfest and US National Snow Scultpting Competiton.  Watch the teams work tirelessly to turn their design into a piece of art! There is also three weeks of featured events following the competition to embrace Lake Geneva's winter season and family fun activities. Special rates also available throughout the event!

Souper Family Fun Night: January 29

Harbor Shores is proud to sponsor and host Winterfest's Soup-Er Magical Evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm! Enjoy a variety of soups provided by local restaurants from around the county. It's a fun night for the entire family because children of all ages will be able to enjoy some music, balloon animals, jokes, and then join in the interactive game show at 6:30pm.

To participate, each person must donate 2 non-perishable items or pay a $4 cash donation for 5 soups.

All proceeds of this event go to benefit Lake Geneva's local food pantry.

Abominable Snow Race: January 27

The abominable snow race is the Midwest's premier winter obstacle race with over 20 obstacles over a 4-6 mile snowy course. No skis, no dogs, no sleds, just you and the abominable weather. The event will be held at the Mountain Top at the Grand Geneva.

Lake Geneva Cocoa Crawl: February 2

Local businesses in the downtown area have put together their own cocoa recipe just for you! Free to the public. Attendees will check in at the Geneva Theater to pick up a map and list of participating businesses. From there, feel free to visit as many businesses as possible (be sure that Harbor Shores is one of your stops) and come back to the Geneva Theater to vote on your favorite cocoa treat! Also new this year, the Geneva Theater will be hosting a FREE showing of the movie Frozen, with Elsa and Ana meet and greet, for those who participated in the Cocoa Crawl.

Amsoil Championship Snocross Series: March 16-18

It's the final stop for the top professional snocross racers on the planet, as well as the leading freestyle athletes anywhere. This World Power Sports Association's Wold Snowmobile Tour will invade Grand Geneva Resort & Spa for the Grand Finale of the AMSOILChampionship Snocross Series, March 16-18, 2018.

Hippity Hoppity Family Fun Easter Event: March 31

Held at the Walwroth County Fair Grounds will be a National Rib Competition present by Miller & Franks Piggly Wiggly, along with live entertainment, carnival rides, delicious food and other fun activities for the whole family. This year marks the 8th Annual Waterford Balloonfest! More than a dozen balloonists from around the nation gather for this genuinely unique event. Music by the Lake: June-August

The Music by the Lake takes place on the shores of Geneva Lake in Williams Bay at the George Williams College throughout the summer months. The event brings in some great acts offering a mix of classical big bands, jazz, pop and classic rock.

Concerts in the Park: Thursdays in Flat Iron Park / July 5 - August 23
 

Concerts are scheduled for every Thursday from 6pm - 8 pm at Flat Iron Park (excluding August 16th during Venetian Festival). Enjoy great music and refreshments each week. The concerts are suitable for all ages.

Chairs are available for rent at Harbor Shores Front Desk for $10.00, otherwise you are welcome to bring your own seating arrangements.

Fat Tire Memorial Tour of Lake Geneva: September 15

Fat Tire Ride of Lake Geneva is a fun bicycle ride on paved roads around Geneva Lake Wisconsin. Beginning at 9am with an unorganized start time, begin the ride at your leisure from Champ's Sports Bar & Grill in the City of Lake Geneva or The Ridge Hotel. Proceeding at your own pace, the ride is approximately 21.5 miles and the "rest" stops are evenly spaced.

Dine Around The Lakes: November 2-11
Dine Around The lakes is a restaurant week for the Walworth County area. Participating restaurants will offer a unique menu for lunch and dinner. Electric Christmas Parade: Dec. 1  
 
Enjoy Lake Geneva’s 43rd Annual Electric Christmas Parade as the beautifully lit and decorated floats bring holiday cheer to the downtown area. The parade starts at 5pm, so be sure to come early and get a good spot! This has been a holiday tradition over the last 4+ decades and is a local seasonal favorite.
